Ridiculing Fat People
For years now it has been acceptable to ridicule and tell people off for smoking. I’m now taking it a step further. To all fat people out there – ITS NOT THE JEANS THAT MAKE YOUR ASS LOOK FAT. You’re not big boned, it doesn’t run in the family, you are just FAT. Get up, go outside, take a walk and if you are hungry when you get back eat some fruit. Stop complaining about being fat and do something about it. I’m getting sick of your excuses and hearing about you an your fat kids on A Current Affair. Just because there are millions of starving people in this world it doesn’t mean you have to eat for them as well. You should be ashamed of yourselves and not venture out in public. There’s nothing worse than fat people at the beach.

Ariel, I do apologise for perhaps I was a bit harsh in trying to get to my point. At the time of writing, I had just talked with someone who is quite a bit overweight and, although he had a history of fat related illnesses in the family, he said he was not going to try losing weight because "I get too tired very quickly and I would have to stop eating my favourite foods". He just shrugged at the idea of dying at a very young age as though not caring about his life. Now, if Ive learnt anything its life shouldnt be taken for granted and it can effect a lot of people.
I was trying to communicate that if some people enjoy being overweight and wont do anything to help with their health, then I am going to ridicule them like I ridicule smokers. If someone smokes near me I tell them what I think as I will now do also with people who dont look after their health in other ways. If people choose to smoke or be overweight and dont want to make efforts to become healthier because its "too hard", then I believe they deserved to be ridiculed. Sure, not everyone means to be overweight and if they are making an effort to be healthy good on them. Its just the lazy fat people who make no effort and dont care what effect they will have on others that I have no time for.
